Last December I was in Japan, shooting our prewed video, planning for the wedding and getting our rings made. I was over the moon. This year, both my greatest joy and greatest fear came true: I got married to the love of my life, and I also buried a beloved family member: my father, who I was very close with. I received "congratulations" and "rest in peace" in the same sentence. "selamat ya" and also "turut berduka" for months on end. Life is funny like that. My life had turned a complete 180 in the span of 6 months. And I'm both grateful and saddened by it. 2025 was that year for me, and I'm never going to be the same person afterwards. And that's alright. This is my first New Year as a wife, and I'm grateful that I got to celebrate small everyday joys with someone that had been my rock, my solid ground throughout everything. I still have no idea what 2026 will look like, but I know I will never be alone facing it. So cheers for the new year, and thank you for the huge lesson. I hope the new year will bring more kindness, more tummy filled with good food, more laughter with loved ones, and more restful sleep for all of us. Kalau muscle memory belum ter-develop dengan baik, setelah lama dipake ya pasti akan berasa kaku. Which is why professional singers mau se-senior apapun tetap latihan vokal supaya otot nya tetap fleksibel dan kuat. The good news is, there’s no such thing as too late. Kalau memang udah lama gak latihan, flexibility and strength bisa dibangun kembali kok dengan disiplin dan guidance yg proper. Buat yg gak tau: aku udah start balik rehearsal musikal dari minggu lalu en kemarin ini sempet breakdown di latihan karena aku inget Papa. School of Rock adalah musikal terakhir yg Papa tonton tahun lalu. Jadi main kembali sebagai Rosalie tanpa Papa tuh berat. Berat banget. Aku gak tau di show nanti akan seperti apa, but I know for sure this will be the last time I go on stage as an actor for some time — and probably the last time I will ever play as Rosalie.
